ISTQB Software Tester Certification Exam Information - Electronic Exams

Electronic ISTQB Exams

The ASTQB has partnered with Kryterion to provide proctored electronic exams for the Foundation Level and Advanced Level ISTQB software tester certifications. If you would like to see a sample list of exam centers, you may view the list of typical ISTQB electronic exam center locations (subject to change).

In fact, if you have employees in the United States as well as internationally, you will find it convenient that ASTQB offers its electronic exams at test centers in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Yemen. Note that this list is subject to periodic change - you will see the most current list once you create a profile on the Kryterion site.

When you are ready to register for an electronic exam, click here to create an account on Kryterion's WebAssessor site. There you will choose "Create New Account" at the top right area of the screen to create your ASTQB/Webassessor user account, then click "Save".

Once you receive your account confirmation email with your login and password, you may then return to the above link, login and begin the registration process.

If you wish to take a Foundation Level exam, click the "Register for an Examination" link. During the registration process, you will be given an opportunity to select your testing center. After choosing a testing center, navigate to the desired date and select your seating time. Follow the rest of the screen prompts from that point forward.

If you wish to take an Advanced Level exam after creating your account, you must first click here or on the "Submit Qualification" button on the upper right area of this page. It will take you to a screen to pay the $100 qualification fee and direct you to submit proof of CTFL certification and a resume and/or employer verification of 3 years experience to ASTQBqual@L-TGraye.com.

Once we receive your payment and documentation, you will receive an email that your qualification has been accepted and you can now log back in, follow the above instructions and go to "Register for an Examination". If you have already qualified for Advanced Level exams, email ASTQBqual@L-TGraye.com with a request to access the online Advanced Level exam system.

Select your date and time carefully! There is a $75 fee for cancellation within 72 hours of your exam, and no exams can be rescheduled except through ASTQB Headquarters via email request to info@astqb.org.
